Successful migration of credit cards of Bavarian Sparkassen and DKB

The company PAYMENT-iT, a provider of payment systems, software development and data processing, was first subcontracted in October of 2005 by Sparkassen Informatik (formerly IZB) to migrate the credit card data of 77 Bavarian Sparkassen and also of Deutsche Kredit Bank to the platform of First Data (Frankfurt).

Based on the joint agreement with Sparkassen Informatik (SI), Bayern Card-Services and FDI, within 7 months after the initial order request the migration software, including the necessary test files, has been developed and delivered. Following a 2-month test phase, the finalized and certified migration software has been delivered to SI at the end of July.

The migration software developed by PAYMENT-iT was the basis for the subsequent successful migration of 1.1 million credit card records from Bavarian Sparkassen as well as from DKB to the processing platform of FDI in September 2006.
