Payment-iT has been running a new computer center since October 2007 where information is being provided for about 400 banks. But also its own infrastructure for development and projection in all areas of the transaction and card processing has been realized.

Through modern virtualisation techniques combined with fast extern hard-disc units and also the abandonment of fat-clients we were able to realize the “Green IT” project. By switching from fat-clients to thin-clients we were able to reduce our power consumption by 50%.

Our emphasize on our development is being carried out under z/OS on our z890.
